Head Coach Dan Whittington said, "The women also ran their best team time of the year even without usual #3 runner Sofia Gutierrez (FR/Placentia, CA).  Daphne and Shaylynn ran aggressive up front for the team both running season bests.  Although the women finished 11th our of 12 teams, 5 out of the 6 women ran their season best time.  We will have our team at full strength in two weeks at the Conference Championships."
