"The 3rd loop proved to be our best and each Royal runner fought to pass runners that went out too fast.  The two seniors, Andrew and Anthony really had solid races for the team.  They have been our leaders all year long and really helped solidify 3rd place for us today.  Really, every single runner ran faster today than two weeks ago at the Warrior Invitational" said head coach Dan Whittington

On the women's side, the Royal's top finisher of the day was Daphne Saloman who finished 16th overall with a time of 20:20.5.

"Again, anchored by our seniors Daphne and Tabitha really stepped up today to help the team.  Freshman Aurora really ran aggressively today just missing All-Conference by 3 spots, Aurora really showed guts today going out hard today and setting the tone for the team" Dan Whittington

Right behind Saloman was Aurora Couto (FR/Winchester, CA) who finished 17th overall with a time of 20:25.1. Sofia Guiterrez crossed the finish line third for the Royals and 33rd overall with a time of 22:24.6.
