FULLERTON, Calif. - Hope International Men's Volleyball has swept the Golden State Athlete Conference weekly honors, announced by the conference office on Monday. Joshua Nehls (SR/Downey, CA) was recognized as Attacker of the Week, Brandon Holderbach Lee (SR/Lancaster, CA) as Setter of the Week, and Chase Larson (SR/Henderson, NV) as Defender of the Week.
Nehls earned his second weekly award from the GSAC, after producing a career-high 33 kills in the Royals upset against the Vanguard Lions. Nehls currently ranks number one overall in the NAIA in kills per game, 5.130.
Holderbach Lee also earned his second weekly award from the GSAC, after having 52 assists in the Royals single match this past week. Nationally, he ranks tenth overall with 9.250 assists per game.
Larson picks of his first GSAC player of the week honor for the season, after being a dominant factor in the Royals upset against the Lions. Larson produced 8 total blocks in the game, while also adding two service aces. Larson also ranks sixth overall in the NAIA in hitting percentage (.481) and twentieth overall in blocks per game (1.00).
